runner...maybe: 26 miles....I should have went for the extra .2

This weekend over two days I walked 26 miles. Saturday started out bright and early 5:45AM and I wasn't feeling it. I still got out of bed and headed out. By mile one my legs were hurting and I was already going slower then I normally walk. I knew I was in for a long walk.?

I called my husband right before my watch hit 15 miles and asked him to come pick me up. I was disappointed in my time since last week it only took me 4 hours to walk 14 miles, I guess I just chalk it up to a bad walk.

We were rushed home after my walk as my daughter had a birthday party to go through and I had a baby shower to attend. A quick shower, a bowl of cereal and out the door I went to find out there was a traffic jam on the freeway. I went an alternative route, but a drive that should have taken 30 minutes tops took me over an hour. The only blessing my seat heaters in my car - really helped with the sore hips and back. After the baby shower I headed home, met the family and took the little one to Parents Night out.? Babysitting that she thinks is a play date is great. The hubs and I?went out for a kid free dinner. When we were seated I look up to see this wilder beast above me.

Sunday I woke up and felt a lot better. The plan called for 11 miles. I had to mix things up a little to get all the miles in. I headed to the treadmill again at 5:45AM - queued up Netflix and walked 7 miles. After that I ran upstairs and changed and walked .75 of a mile down to the start line of the Issaquah Run, participated in a 5K, walked around for a while and hit 11+ miles.
